Re: daemon dies instantly

My /var/qmail/control permissions are as follows:

root@custmail control]# ls -al
total 32
drwxr-xr-x 2 root qmail 4096 May 21 15:11 .
drwxr-xr-x 11 root qmail 4096 May 23 11:07 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9 May 21 15:10 defaultdomain
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18 May 21 15:10 locals
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18 May 21 15:10 me
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9 May 21 15:10 plusdomain
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18 May 21 15:10 rcpthosts
-r--r----- 1 qmails nofiles 515 May 21 15:11 sqlserver

I assume it's right since I followed directions closely.

I installed qmail-sql with PostgreSQL to the point at which I am getting successful queries with qmail-getpw yet when I attempt to start qmail (csh -cf '/var/qmail/rc &') the daemon just dies and gives no errors. Any suggestions?

Are you sure the permissions of /var/qmail/control/sqlserver are ok ?
Testing with qmail-getpw confirms the correct values in sqlserver, but doesn't say a thing about permissions/ownerships of that file.
Kind regards,
